On a windy July 1, Jeff Dickson and Sandy Kraker (both of whom grew
up on Sylvia Lake)
conducted a kayak class for lakers. Taking shelter from the wind in a
corner of Wintergreen Bay,
the group learned strokes and played a game of "dead fish" with a floating
sponge.
Participants received a certificate for their participation.
