ice island

The ice is darkening and unsafe, the additional photos indicate some movement but also considerable thickness.

dam

Considering yesterday's rainfall and flood warnings for portions of the North Country, the lake level at the dam is excellent for this time of year.

above the dam

A steady flow continues, some general clean-up of brush and downed trees is necessary when things warm up and the depth at the dam is 22 inches a major improvement from last fall's high water.

ice concrete

The ice cover is at the point where a cold night could firm it back up or a couple warm days with wind and rain could open things up.
